Hey everyone! I have some really exciting news to share with you all. Our school in rural Malawi, Matandani, is set to receive amazing support from “Mary’s Meals” starting this September. After ten years of working on this initiative …. it’s an amazing feeling to finally have this confirmed! This means that each and every child at Matandani will be provided with a piping hot meal every morning, setting them up for a fantastic school day ahead!

Just imagine the impact this will have on these children. A nutritious meal to kick start their day – not only does this ensure they have a full stomach to help them concentrate in class, but it also brings a sense of security and care that every child deserves. It’s no secret that a balanced diet plays a significant role in a child’s ability to learn and thrive in their educational journey. With Mary’s Meals on board, we can rest assured that the children at Matandani will have the fuel they need to make the most of their time at school.

For those who might not be familiar, Mary’s Meals is a fantastic organisation dedicated to providing daily meals in a place of learning. Their mission aligns perfectly with our values of supporting education and ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. This partnership is a match made in heaven, and I couldn’t be more thrilled about the positive impact it will have on the lives of these children.

It’s amazing to think about the ripple effect of this initiative. By ensuring the children at Matandani have access to nutritious meals, we are not only nourishing their bodies but also their minds and spirits. A full tummy can lead to increased concentration, improved performance in school, and even better overall health. This small act of kindness will undoubtedly make a huge difference in the lives of these young learners.

As we gear up for the launch of this initiative in September, let’s keep the excitement going. This is just the beginning of a wonderful journey of empowerment and support for the children of Matandani. Together, we can make a real difference, one meal at a time.

From a super happy Andy!
